The Workplace

Lilla Park offers you a workplace where joy, team spirit, and a positive view of children are at the center. The preschool has two departments: Ängen for children aged 1–3 years and Havet for children aged 3–5 years. The departments collaborate several times a day, which means that children get to know the educators at the preschool and feel secure with all adults. Lilla Park is close to the forest and also to Grängesberg's center, allowing children at the preschool to explore different types of environments. You will have individual planning time each week as well as joint reflection time in the work team once a week. This advertisement primarily targets pedagogical work with younger children.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you will work pedagogically with children aged 1-5 years. Your most important task is to create and develop a safe and secure environment for the children, where they are encouraged and challenged to engage in activities, learning, and taking responsibility. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you will create an environment based on the children's needs and interests, where children feel influence and can participate in shaping the preschool's environment and activities. This requires you to take personal responsibility and collaborate both within the work team and with parents and other staff.

Ludvika Municipality invests in systematic quality work for preschools. Through pedagogical documentation, the preschool is monitored, evaluated, and developed. In this work, you will be an important player in the shared responsibility to plan, implement, document, and follow up on the activities based on applicable governing documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher education or teacher education for younger years with a valid teaching license. You also need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written (native language or at least SFI D).

To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you need to have the ability to create calm and security in the child group that promotes a creative and learning environment for the children. Your knowledge and understanding of the significance of play for learning and the development of young children are very good.

Your approach is positive in meeting people, and you find it easy to build good relationships with both children and adults. Your structured working method and sense of responsibility will make it easy for you to work independently and adapt to different situations.

Your collaboration skills and communication are good, and you see the work team as an asset where you together drive organizational development.

We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge in special education or communication and clarifying pedagogy.
